Description
Craftspersons design, make and repair objects which have both functional and artistic qualities, working in wood, metal, glass, leather, ceramics, textiles and other materials.
Tasks
A craftsperson may perform the following tasks: \par - design the style and shape of objects \par - use and manipulate materials to make objects according to the design \par - finish objects to enhance their artistic and/or practical qualities \par - repair damaged or defective craft objects.
Requirements
- artistic design skills \par - good hand-eye coordination \par - promotional skills \par - business skills if self-employed.
